Baby Planner Portrait Packages - Parker's 6 Month Milestone
Aug 8, 2025 | By: Pat Hermann Photography
Baby Parker's milestone portrait session is another one of our baby planners that I am so fortunate to see every couple of months! She came in ready to go and gave me smile after smile! I cannot believe she is already sitting up like a pro and grabbing those toes at every chance she has!
Big sister loved sharing in the session as well, and we were able to get such cute shots of them both! It is hard to believe she is already halfway to one!
Frequently Asked Questions about Milestone Portrait Sessions
1. What is a milestone portrait session?
A milestone portrait session is a specially designed photography session that captures significant developmental stages in a child's life. These sessions typically focus on key ages such as newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months, allowing families to create lasting memories of their child's growth and personality.
2. How long does a milestone portrait session take?
Milestone portrait sessions typically last between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the child's age and the number of poses or setups being used. Infants may need more breaks, while older children might have more energy for various setups.
3. What should we wear for the session?
It's recommended to choose outfits that reflect your family's style while being comfortable for your child. Coordinating colors but avoiding overly busy patterns is often a great choice. Parent participation is also encouraged, so matching or complementary outfits are recommended for family portraits.
4. How do we prepare our child for the session?
To prepare your child for a milestone portrait session, ensure they are well-rested and fed before the appointment. Bring along favorite toys or comfort items to help them feel at ease. It can also be helpful to schedule the session around their usual happy times of the day.
