The biggest mistake parents make? Waiting until the actual birthday to book. If you want to use these photos for birthday invitations or to display at the birthday party, you need to schedule the session for when your baby is 10 to 11 months old. This allows 2-3 weeks for editing and printing so your photos are ready to shine on the big day!

What should I bring to the session?

We provide the set and the props! You just need to bring the baby, an extra change of clothes for yourself (you will get frosting on you!), and your baby’s favorite snacks in case they need a little encouragement to try the cake.

What if my baby doesn't like the cake?

It happens! Some babies are hesitant about new textures. Don't worry—we have plenty of tricks up our sleeves. Sometimes we hide "puffs" or fruit inside the cake to get them interested, and we always focus on capturing their personality, cake or no cake.

When should I reach out to book?

Our weekend dates fill up incredibly fast! We recommend reaching out 2 to 3 months in advance to ensure we can accommodate your preferred date and have time to design your custom theme.

Do you provide the cake?

Due to allergy concerns, we typically ask parents to provide the cake. This ensures you know exactly what is in the ingredients. We are happy to recommend local bakeries that specialize in beautiful, smashable "naked cakes" or custom designs!
